Supreme Court of Korea Delegation Visits Pepperdine Caruso Law

Recently, dean Naomi Goodno, associate director of the Straus Institute Sarah Park, professor Stephanie Williams, and Pepperdine Caruso Law second-year student John Lee met with a delegation led by Judge Kyeongseon Kim, commissioned by the Supreme Court of Korea to investigate AI in legal education.

“Korean courts are seeking to enhance our own judicial system by learning from your experience with AI,” stated Judge Kim.  Of particular interest was the newly launched P(AI)R for Lawyering program, which seeks to equip law students with AI credentials but keeps ethics as the "North Star."

Pepperdine Caruso Law was honored to welcome Judge Kim and her team to exchange perspectives on this rapidly developing area.
