Straus Institute to Host Young Voices in Divided Times on December 11
The Straus Institute will host an inspiring event, Young Voices in Divided Times, this Friday at 9:00 am to highlight the role of new leaders in the field of dispute resolution. Students of all levels from high school, undergraduate and graduate schools are invited to join the program. Educators and administrators are also encouraged to attend to connect with colleagues and think about best practices in incorporating ADR into their curriculum and work.
Our country faces great challenges ahead, including an ongoing pandemic, a nationwide awakening on racial justice, and a deeply divided electorate. Students, educators, and administrators are devising solutions that bridge understanding and build relationships across the political spectrum. The event features experienced professionals, advocates, and thoughtful students who will share their ideas and discuss creative interventions that enable our communities to come together in meaningful ways. The interactive program will include a brief training on conflict management and empowering breakouts that enable participants to meet and build together.
