Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution Online Master’s Program Holds London Study Tour 2026

Fourteen students from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution's Online Master’s Program met in London for a week-long study tour across the city. Amid final exams, graduation plans and papers due, students headed across the pond to learn about the British constitutional monarchy and its influence on the structure of the United States government.

Led by professor Marc Goodman, students toured the Tower of London, Mansion House, and Kensington Palace, learning the history of early London, then toured Westminster Abbey and the surrounding area to understand the British government, as well as getting a chance to meet a barrister at Middle Temple Inn of Court where they learned more about the Royal Courts of Justice. The students also took in historical sites during a Black History tour, visited the Benjamin Franklin House, and enjoyed an afternoon tea.

Many students met each other for the first time in-person during the study tour. By the end of the week, they bonded over shared adventures and a once-in a lifetime experiences.
