Straus Institute and Graduate Law Programs Represented at 2025 Law School Admissions Council National Conference

On May 28-31, 2025, Krestina Torossian represented the Straus Institute and Graduate Law Programs at the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) National Conference in Toronto, Canada. As the Straus Institute’s senior recruitment manager, Torrosian brought energy and professionalism to the event, engaging with law school administrators from peer institutions from across the country.

At the conference, Torossian led insightful one-on-one conversations, highlighting the unique strengths of the Straus Institute programs, including flexible LLM and Master of Dispute Resolution programs, as well as online program offerings. The conference allowed the Straus Institute expand its national visibility and establish new relationships that will continue to benefit future students considering graduate-level legal and conflict resolution education.

Torossian also participated in a series of high-impact professional development sessions, including:

  • The Leaders of the Pack: What Admission Deans Are Doing and What Deans Expect
  • From Abroad to Attorney: Advising International Students and International Lawyers
  • If You Build It, Will They Come? Identifying Prospective Students for Graduate Law Programs
  • Developing a World-Class Network: Transforming International Alumni Into Global Advocates for Your Law School

These sessions offered valuable insights into current trends in law school admissions, international advising, targeted recruitment strategies, and alumni engagement across global networks.
