Sports and Entertainment Law Society Hosts The Future of Sports Law Speaker Series

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS) hosted The Future of Sports Law Speaker Series on February 28. The event featured three professionals who have each found success in working in different avenues of the sports industries, Caruso Law alumni Aaron Mojarras (JD '21) and Jason Baker (JD '22), and Joth Bhuller.

Mojarras is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Howard L. Jacobs. He represents professional athletes in salary disputes and disciplinary matters in the Court of Arbitration for Sport and American Arbitration Association.  Baker is an associate attorney at civil litigation firm Daniels, Fine, Israel, Schonbuch & Lebovits LLP. He previously worked for Paradigm Sports while at Caruso Law. Bhullar serves as counsel at Pac-12 Networks Business and Legal Affairs. He drafts and negotiates contracts, including conference-wide sponsorship agreements, media distribution, and general vendor agreements.

Caruso Law SELS sports chair Brandon Posivak organized the speaker series event.
