Professor Shelley Saxer Interviewed on Pacific Gas and Electric Bankruptcy After California Wildfires — NPR

Professor Shelley Ross Saxer was interviewed on the NPR program Marketplace Morning with Scott Tong regarding Pacific Gas and Electric's bankruptcy after the California wildfires. Professor Saxer explained the concept of inverse condemnation and California law regarding private utility and government actions that damage private property owners from wildfires and floods. The topic state inverse condemnation and damagings claims is also the subject of Professor Saxer's forthcoming article "Paying for Disasters" (SSRN) which will be published in the Kansas Law Review.
