Sabrina Ashjian (JD '07) honored as 2016 Wildlife Prosecutor of the Year

September 19, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- Pepperdine Law alumna Sabrina Ashjian (JD '07) was honored by the California Fish and Game Commission for her efforts to combat resource crimes and prosecute wildlife poachers.

The California Fish and Game Commission recently honored Fresno County Deputy District Attorney (DDA) Sabrina Ashjian as the Commission's 2016 Wildlife Prosecutor of the Year.  The selection process was based upon nominations from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Law Enforcement Division, whose wildlife officers regularly work with all 58 District Attorneys' Offices.
