Religious Liberty Clinic Applications | Due April 22

Applications are now open for the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law’s Hugh and Hazel Darling Foundation Religious Liberty Clinic. They are due on Monday, April 22.

This coming fall, the Religious Liberty Clinic will once again enroll 6-8 students in a seminar-style class that will include active, supervised practice in cases protecting religious liberty rights. Clinic students will participate in amicus briefs, appeals, and advocacy to advance religious liberty. This opportunity will allow interested students to get practical, hands-on experience working on religious liberty cases under the supervision of attorneys from Jones Day, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the country, including Noel Francisco, former Solicitor General of the United States. In addition, Visiting Professor Eric Rassbach, vice president and senior counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, will serve as the faculty director of the clinic and the course will be co-taught by Professor Rassbach and Caruso Law Professor Michael Helfand.

Interested rising 2L and 3L students can apply to the clinic through the application link or by sending the following to Linn Griffin (linn.griffin@pepperdine.edu): (1) resume and (2) short statement explaining interest in the clinic. Applications are due by April 22.
