Rebecca Jurva-Brinn (JD '05) Featured in 20/20 Special Edition for Winning Homicide Case in Michigan Circuit Court

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumna Rebecca Jurva-Brinn (JD '05) is featured in a 20/20 Special Edition episode for winning a homicide case in Michigan's 7th Judicial Circuit Court.  Jurva-Brinn served as the assistant prosecuting attorney who tried the case. The case involved a Michigan man, Jason Harris, who poisoned his wife's cereal with heroin. Harris was charged with first-degree murder, solicitation of murder, and delivery of a controlled substance causing death. A jury convicted Harris on all three counts.

Jurva-Brinn was honored with the Michigan State Police's Award for Professional Excellence for her work on the case.
