Professor Victoria Schwartz Presents "Rogers Redundancy" -- Association of American Law Schools Annual Meeting 2026

Professor Victoria L. Schwartz presented her work-in-progress "Rogers Redundancy" at the 2026 Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting, Art Law Section on January 7.  The presentation was part of the Art Law Section's main panel titled "Balancing Artistic Freedom and Trademark Protection."  The section programming also included presenting the first-ever section award ceremony, and co-sponsoring a panel on "IP and Innovation in Turbulent Times."

Professor Schwartz was the chair-elect of the Art Law Section for the past year, and was elected as chair for the upcoming year. 

In addition, Professor Schwartz served as a senior commentator for the Intellectual Property's Emerging Scholars Panel for a paper by Mehtab Khan, of Cleveland State University College of Law titled "Access to Datasets."

The 2026 AALS Annual Meeting, titled "Courage in Action," took place in New Orleans on January 6-9.
