Professor Trey Childress Participates in U.S. State Department Advisory Committee on International Law Meeting

Professor Donald Earl "Trey" Childress participated in a meeting of the U.S. State Department's Advisory Committee on International Law on June 9, 2023. The committee, which advises the State Department on the practice of International law, is composed of leading practitioners and scholars in the field. Among other matters, the committee discussed advisory opinion at the International Court of Justice and international law and the limits of personal jurisdiction over foreign defendants.

Professor Childress also serves on the U.S. State Department's Advisory Committee on Private International Law.
