Professor Stephanie Williams presented "Care to Comment? Grading Advice for Law Professors" for the 22nd Biennial Conference of the Legal Writing Institute at Minnesota Law. Caruso Law visiting professor Bob Brain moderated and Williams presented with Minnesota Law legal writing director David Cleveland and Loyola Marymount University Law School professor Patricia Jones Winograd on best practices for grading first year papers. The experienced legal research and writing professors all graded the same memo to show common themes and differences in grading style.
Approximately fifty professors from around the country attended the presentation. The conference, titled "LWI Asssemble," took place on July 15-18 in Minneapolis.
