Professor Shelley Ross Saxer presented "Professors en la Playa: An Update by Those in the Know, Civil Asset Forfeitures" for the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) Mid-Year Meeting on March 27-28. Professor Saxer presented her forthcoming University of Miami Law Review article, Forfeiture Takings (SSRN), which considers reassessing the history of forfeiture law and its applicability to modern law enforcement practices.
