Professor Shelley Saxer Presents "Forfeiture Takings" -- University of New South Wales
Professor Shelley Ross Saxer presented "Forfeiture Takings" (SSRN) at the Association of Law, Property, and Society Annual Meeting held at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Professor Saxer discussed the historical background of criminal and civil forfeitures incorporated into the United States judicial system, and the constitutional limitations on forfeitures. The Association of Law, Property, and Society is an international organization of scholars and teachers engaged in a wide range of interdisciplinary research covering property law, policy, and theory, and the role property plays in social structures, human relationships, and ecology.
