Professor Maureen Weston Participates in Sports Lawyers Association Fall Symposium on Sports and Artificial Intelligence

Professor Maureen A. Weston participated in the annual Sports Lawyers Association Fall Symposium, titled "Game Changers: The Intersection of Sports and Artificial Intelligence,' on November 2. The symposium explored how AI is revolutionizing player performance analysis, fan engagement strategies, injury prevention techniques, and more.

Professor Weston serves on the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) board of directors. She is also co-chair of the SLA's International Sports Law committee, and serves on the DEI and Disability & Sport Law committees. Professor Weston frequently speaks with law students around the country encouraging SLA mentoring and writing competition opportunities, most recently with law students at Creighton University and Georgia State University College of Law.
