Professor Maureen A. Weston presented "Name Image Likeness and the [Student] Athlete Influencer: Opportunities, Risks, and Caveats" for the Texas A&M Law Review Symposium. The symposium, titled "More than Sports: What Comes After NIL?," was held on September 29.

The symposium featured leading sports law attorney Jeff Kessler, lead counsel in college athlete antitrust litigation against NCAA amateurism rules, and other sports law academics and practitioners. The panels included topics addressing federal regulation, employment, and impacts on athletes.
