Professor Maureen Weston Participates in "Name, Image, Likeness: The Evolution of College Sports" -- Cardozo Law Arts and Entertainment Law Journal Symposium

Professor Maureen A. Weston participated in Cardozo School of Law's Arts and Entertainment Law Journal Symposium, titled "Name, Image, Likeness: The Evolution of College Sports."  Professor Weston moderated a panel on"Regulation and Congressional Concerns" regarding the new phenomenon where college athletes may secure endorsement deals. The panel also addressed the largely unregulated industry of agents and "collectives, " which impacts recruiting and college sports in significant ways. 

Professor Weston's co-panelists included included professor John T. Wolohan of Syracuse University; professor Sam Ehrlich of Boise State University; professor Matt Mitten from the National Sports Law Institute at Marquette University; professor Andrew Zimbalist of Smith College; and Dan Lust, a sports attorney and podcast host of "Conduct Detrimental."
