Professor Maureen Weston Appointed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport

The International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS) has appointed professor Maureen A. Weston to the General List of arbitrators at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, CAS is an independent international body that resolves disputes related to the Olympic Games and international sport.

Often referred to as the "Supreme Court for Sport," CAS serves as the exclusive forum for resolving most Olympic and international sports disputes. Its arbitrators handle a wide range of cases, including appeals of eligibility and disciplinary decisions, commercial disputes, anti-doping matters, and expedited, on-site arbitration during the Olympic Games.
