Professor Jennifer Lee Koh presented "Mass Deportations and Christianity in the United States" at the Patristic Institute Augustinianum in Rome, Italy, for the conference "Refugees and Migrants in Our Common Home: Mobilizing Academic Communities. The conference, held on October 1-3, was organized by the Villanova University Strategic Initiative for Migrants and Refugees in partnership with the Center for Migration Studies of New York. The event brought together a global gathering of scholars, advocates and faith leaders from over 30 countries.
The conference was held just before the Jubilee for Migrants and Refugees and included a private audience with Pope Leo XIV.
