Edward John Larson is a distinguished American historian and legal scholar. He currently serves as a University Professor of History and Law at Pepperdine University, holding the Hugh & Hazel Darling Chair in Law. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in History for his 1997 book Summer for the Gods: The Scopes Trial and America's Continuing Debate Over Science and Religion.
