Professor Edward J. Larson presented "250 Years of the American Experiment" at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The annual event took place on April 18-19 at the University of Southern California. The festival brings together celebrated authors, thought leaders, and industry experts for engaging discussions on a wide range of topics including literature, emerging trends in media, and more.

Edward J. Larson, a Pulitzer Prize–winning historian, has written several acclaimed works on early America, most recently a study of liberty and slavery at the founding, American Inheritance. A graduate of Harvard Law School with a PhD in history from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he lives near Los Angeles, California.
