Professor Colleen Graffy Discusses NATO 2023 Vilnius Summit and Ukraine Membership -- LBC Radio UK

Professor Colleen P. Graffy discussed the 2023 NATO Summit taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, and a path for NATO membership for Ukraine. The Vilnius Summit is an ongoing NATO summit taking place on July 11-12.

Professor Graffy stated that the need for consensus among all 31 members of NATO will cause difficulty for any immediate inclusion but that Ukraine should be welcomed as soon as it is practical to do so, not ony for Ukraine's sake also but for the sake of other countries. She noted that if Ukraine is not secure, Europe is not secure, pointing out the six million refugees, energy disruptions, and reduced global food supplies that are a direct result of Putin's illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
