Pepperdine University establishes Deanell Reece Tacha Endowed Scholarship
April 21, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- To commemorate Dean Deanell Reece Tacha's distinguished service as School of Law Dean, Pepperdine University has established the Deanell Reece Tacha Endowed Scholarship. The honor, which was presented to Dean Tacha on April 7 by Pepperdine University President, Andrew K. Benton, and Pepperdine University Provost, Rick R. Marrs, acknowledges Dean Tacha for being "a guiding force for excellence and innovation, encouraging those around you to embrace the challenges of legal education and expect an extraordinary Pepperdine journey of personal, intellectual, spiritual, and visionary growth." The endowed scholarship is a meaningful tribute to Dean Tacha who remained determined throughout her deanship to offer students an excellent law school experience and encouraged students to consider the many rewarding opportunities that a legal education provides.
