Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic Thanks 2021 Summer Clerks

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Legal Aid Clinic thanks this year's summer clerks, Sanjukta Koppolu, Emily Brooks, Hermes Tristan Pelayo, Andre Gregoire, and John McPherson, for advocating on behalf of the residents of Union Rescue Mission and Covenant House of California.

Under the supervision of Professor Brittany Stringfellow Otey, the team has assisted low income clients with immigration, family law, guardianship, criminal reentry, and general civil issues. In addition, they have partnered with the Los Angeles Office of the City Attorney in order to assist with Homeless Court, which offers relief from tickets and warrants to people experiencing homelessness.
