Pepperdine Law Congratulates Daniel De Cecco

May 15, 2019 | Pepperdine Law is pleased to recognize its recent bell-ringer in celebration of post-graduate employment success, Daniel De Cecco! Joining Daniel in the festivities were Dean Paul Caron, Director of Career Development Michelle Feinstein, and members of the administrative offices and Deans' Suite. Special guests were Daniel's parents, Steve and Peggy De Cecco, his sister, Cara Debban, and his niece, Darcy Debban. Also offering his congratulations was Pepperdine President-elect, James A. Gash.

Daniel has accepted a two-year Ralph L. Carr Appellate Fellowship at the Colorado Attorney General's Office.  After serving as an intern in the Criminal Appeals Section of that office, he learned about the position from the office website.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.  Prior to law school, he served as an intern with International Justice Mission in Washington, DC and La Paz, Bolivia.

While at Pepperdine Law, Daniel served as a student ambassador, an associate editor on the Pepperdine Law Review, and president of the Criminal Law Society.  He also enjoyed participating in the Interfaith Student Council and the Restoration and Justice Clinic.  In addition to his externship at the Attorney General's Office, Daniel worked as an extern at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Denver District Attorney's Office.

Daniel is graduating from Pepperdine Law with a Juris Doctor and certificates in Dispute Resolution and Criminal Legal Practice.
