Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Advocacy Team Places First in Western Regional Competition of All Star Bracket Challenge
For the second year in a row, the Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Advocacy Team placed first in the Western Regional competition of the All Star Bracket Challenge. The Pepperdine Trial Team of Rebecca Voth, Karl Kleppe, Thurgood Wynn, MacKenzie Savage, and Westin Whitener won the West Regional of the 64-team, NCAA-style, All Star bracket. Rebecca Voth, president of the trial advocacy program, won the individual Best Advocate award for her performance at the regional competition.
The Pepperdine team will advance to the national competition, a 16-team, single-elimination bracket. The national competition determines a champion out of the schools that competed in the four regional All Star challenges. The national competition begins on November 5th.
