Pepperdine Caruso Law Team Competes at Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition 2026

The Pepperdine Caruso Law team of Tommy Redell and Liam Ganion represented Pepperdine Sports Law at the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition 2026. The team competed in three Major League Baseball (MLB) salary arbitration rounds featuring San Diego Padres reliever Mason Miller, Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson, and Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Brice Turang.

Beyond the hearings, the competition offered the participants valuable networking with fellow sports law students and with the arbitrators, many of whom are MLB executives and player agents. The team is grateful to professor Maureen Weston for her guidance and support throughout the competition.
