Pepperdine Caruso Law Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Palmer Center Host Music Law Panel

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS) and the Palmer Center presented  "Inside the Music Industry: A Conversation with Jeff Harleston and Guy Blake" on November 11. The engaging panel featured insights from Harleston, the general counsel and executive vice president of business and legal affairs at Universal Music Group, and Causo Law alumnus Blake (JD '94), a partner at Granderson Des Rochers LLP.

Moderated by SELS president Jordan Kashani and music chair Isaac Rabbanian, the discussion explored the evolving landscape of music law—from contract negotiations and artist representation to the impact of streaming and AI.
