Pepperdine Caruso Law Jewish Law Students Association Celebrates Sukkot

On September 30,  the Jewish Law Students Association at Pepperdine Caruso Law celebrated the Sukkot holiday with "Sushi in the Sukkah." The eight-day festival of Sukkot commemorates the 40 years the Israelites spent wandering in the desert after their exodus from Egypt, when they lived in temporary shelters, called a sukkah.

Students and guests enjoyed kosher sushi in the front lawn sukkah as part of the joyful, community-centered celebration of gratitude, faith, and God's enduring protection.
