Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates Cara MacDonald
Pepperdine Caruso Law is happy to congratulate its newest bell-ringer in recognition of post-graduate employment success, Cara MacDonald! Cara was joined in the celebration by Dean Paul Caron, Assistant Dean Laine Kontos and Associate Director Alexis Joyce of the Career Development Office, members of the Adminstrative Offices and Deans' Suite, and Cara's friends and law school colleagues. Prior to ringing the bell, Cara thanked her boyfriend Alex and all her professors who made law school a good experience.
After graduation, Cara will be working as an associate in Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw & Pittman San Francisco's Real Estate Transactions department. She will be working on a variety of projects, ranging from multijurisdictional portfolio transactions to single-asset deals in local markets. Pillsbury is an excellent firm and Cara is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them.
Cara studied journalism at the University of Utah for her undergraduate degree, and she worked as a news writer before law school. While at Caruso Law, Cara has really enjoyed her involvement with the Journal for the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary, and with the Intellectual Property Student Association.
Cara's law school experience has been notably impacted by her professors, particularly Visiting Professor Robert Brain and Professor Gregory Ogden, who have provided a lot of mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for success during her time at Caruso Law.
Congratulation to Cara!
