Alumni and students attend Annual Sports Lawyers Association Conference

May 19, 2016 -- Pepperdine alumni and sports law dispute resolution students recently gathered at the 42nd Annual Sports Lawyers Association Conference in Los Angeles. During the conference, USA Track & Field General Counsel/Chief of Business Affairs Norman Wain -- a Pepperdine Law alumnus (JD '96) -- was elected to the Board of Directors. SLA is the leading organization of professionals dedicated to practicing and teaching sports law in the United States and one of the leading sports law professional organizations worldwide.

"I am humbled and honored by the appointment to the SLA board of directors," Wain told USA Track & Field. "I look forward to contributing my time and efforts to the continued success of the organization."
