Pepperdine Law moot court program ranked #11 nationally, #2 in California, by University of Houston Law Center

June 7, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- The Pepperdine Law moot court program has been ranked #11 in the nation, and #2 in California, for the 2016-2017 moot court competition season by the Blakely Advocacy Institute at the University of Houston Law Center. The Blakely Advocacy Institute ranks law schools annually based on the results of moot court competitions in which teams receive scores.  Pepperdine Law advocates earned top scores at the Tulane Sports Law Competition, UCLA Cyber Crimes Competition, Traynor Moot Court Competition, Asylum and Refugee Law Competition, American Bar Association NAAC Regional Competition, Stetson International Environmental Law Competition, and Chicago Bar Association Competition. As a result of its high ranking, Pepperdine Law has been invited to compete in the 2018 Andrews Kurth Kenyon Moot Court National Championship, which determines the "best of the best" moot court program. The championship competition will take place on January 24-17, 2018, in Houston.
