Michael O'Neill (JD '94) joins Sims|Funk, PLC

September 20, 2016 -- Pepperdine Law alumnus Michael O'Neill (JD '94) has joined Sims|Funk, PLC, a boutique litigation firm located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. O'Neill, a seasoned business litigator, will work closely with partners Sam Funk and Scott Sims to represent the firm's clients in a broad range of complex business disputes. Mr. O'Neill's past employment includes ten years as a partner with the international law firm of McDermott Will & Emory handling complex business litigation matters involving commercial disputes, business torts, intellectual property, product liability, professional liability, and environmental claims. Throughout his career, Mr. O'Neill has been a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on issues such as trial practice, professional ethics, litigation avoidance, discovery, and calculating damages in complex cases.

Mr. O'Neill graduated with honors from Rutgers University and magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law where he served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. Mr. O'Neill is admitted to practice in Tennessee and California.
