Professor Maureen Weston named Academic Co-Director of Pepperdine University's new Institute for Entertainment, Media & Culture (iEMC)

October 14, 2015 -- Professor Maureen Weston has been named Academic Co-Director of Pepperdine University's new Institute for Entertainment, Media & Culture[BROKEN LINK] (iEMC) (read iEMC announcement).

Weston is currently spending her fall sabbatical as Visiting Scholar at the University of Colorado Law School. She also has been appointed to the Advisory Board for the Center for Sports Governance at the University of Colorado. Her recent speaking engagement include presenting on "Using Dispute Systems Design to Tackle Abuse in Sport" at the University of St. Thomas School of Law Law Review Symposium on Dispute Systems Design: Justice, Accountability and Impact, as well as "Arbitration Law:  Current Issues from SCOTUS, to Uber and Deflategate" at CU Law School and a panel on "SafeSport" at Marquette's National Sports Law Institute Annual Conference.
