Marcello Jones, Political Weapons or Judicial Officers: How the United States Supreme Court's Increased Political Polarization Highlights an Immediate Need for Reform -- University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy (forthcoming)

Pepperdine Caruso Law rising third-year student Marcello Jones's article, Political Weapons or Judicial Officers: How the United States Supreme Court's Increased Political Polarization Highlights an Immediate Need for Reform, will be published in the University of Florida Journal of Law & Public Policy, Volume 36, Issue 3. The Comment highlights that the Executive’s use of the Appointments Clause has blurred the lines of the separation of powers, allowing the Executive branch to exert undue power and influence over the judiciary to shape judicial decision-making and overturn precedent.

The Pepperdine Law Review congratulates Jones on his accomplishment.
