About the International Sports Law & Dispute Resolution London Study Tour - May 21-26, 2023:
Pepperdine Caruso School of Law is proud to host a timely and unique class on the legal aspects of sports around the world in our London facility. International and Olympic Sports Dispute Resolution (Law 2282) (2 credits) will be taught by professor Maureen Weston (Sports Law casebook author and scholar), along with adjunct professor Jeff Benz (arbitrator, Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), former general counsel for United States Olympic Committee), and accompanied by various guest expert lecturers and site visits to international sports-related venues in London. The course will combine daily lectures and practical legal exercises with site visits and guest speakers and leading experts from international sports organizations. Among these visits include Chelsea Football Club, Sport Resolutions, British Olympic Association (BOA), British Horseracing Authority, ChelseaFC, International Tennis Integrity Agency, along with various tours in London.
