Law School Survey of Student Engagement 2023
Please look for an email invitation on March 20 to participate in the Law School Survey of Student Engagement (LSSSE), conducted by an independent research center.
- Results inform decisions that benefit students. We use the results to improve your experience and quality of education.
- Your responses are compared with other law schools. Close to 80 law schools are participating in the LSSSE this year. Through your participation we gain meaningful insights about how your educational experience compares with other law schools.
- The more students respond, the more valuable data. It's important to get as many responses as possible so the data we receive from LSSSE is representative of the entire student body.
About the LSSSE Survey
- Conducted by an independent research center. Responses are anonymous to the law school.
- The survey is online and takes about 15 minutes.
- The study is broad in nature; it includes a wide variety of topics related to student classroom experience, faculty interaction, use and satisfaction with student services, academic and professional growth, and your overall assessment of the law school.
- LSSSE is a national survey based on a solid foundation of research on effective educational practises. It's a meaningful measure of how law students spend their time and what they gain from law school.
- Since 2004, 191 law schools have participated and over 294,000 students have taken the survey.
All law students will receive an email invitation on March 20, with a final reminder on April 4.
