Karin Lang Recognized as Third Best Overall Oralist at Emory University School of Law Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition

Pepperdine Caruso Law third-year student Karin Lang was recognized as the third best overall oralist at the 14th Annual Emory University School of Law Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition, which took place on October 16-18, 2020.

Karin competed with Pepperdine Caruso Law teammates Katelyn Leeviraphan and Lindsey Kirchoff against 32 other teams in the competition.  She was ranked following the semi-final rounds. The team was coached by Professor Mark Kubish.

The competition problem focused on the level of ADA compliance required on websites.

Karin's performance continues Pepperdine Caruso School of Law's tradition of excelling at interschool moot court competitions.
