Jamie Holzer White (JD '15) Joins Ferguson Case Orr Paterson

June 18, 2019 | Pepperdine Law alumna Jamie Holzer White (JD '15) has joined Ferguson Case Orr Paterson in its Ventura, California, office. Jamie specializes in estate planning, trust administration and probate, and has extensive knowledge of charitable estate planning strategies.

Ferguson Case Orr Paterson LLP (FCOP), Ventura County's largest law firm, recently welcomed attorney Jamie Holzer White to the firm. Holzer White's practice areas include estate planning, trust administration and probate, and she has extensive knowledge of charitable estate planning strategies.

A member of the California State Bar, Holzer White received her juris doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and completed a master's degree with high distinction in tax law at Loyola Law School, where her coursework emphasis was in estate planning. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated with honors.

Prior to joining FCOP, Holzer White served as assistant vice president of legal services at Crescendo Interactive, a charitable software and marketing company, where she provided client education and customer support for charitable tax planning software. In addition, Holzer White has taught numerous seminars on tax-wise charitable giving and has authored weekly articles for national charities to publish in their newsletters to contributors. She has also previously practiced in tax resolution.

As a law school student, Holzer White participated in the Tax Appeals Assistance Practicum for the California State Board of Equalization's Taxpayers' Rights Advocate Office. She also volunteered as a mentor in a rehabilitation program, teaching alternative dispute resolution techniques to incarcerated juveniles and jail inmates. A California native, Holzer White currently resides in Ventura, where she continues to be an active volunteer with the nonprofit Laundry Love and with Freedom Church, located in Thousand Oaks.
