January 12, 2018 | Pepperdine Law alumnus James K. Dummitt (JD '07) has been promoted to Director of Gilmore & Bell, P.C., a public finance law firm. Dummitt practices from the firm's office in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Dummitt was admitted to the California Bar in 2007 and the Missouri Bar in 2009. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Mr. Dummitt received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and his J.D. (cum laude) from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007. He completed his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 2008.
