In Memoriam: Robert L. Reeves (JD '79)

May 3, 2016 -- Pepperdine Law alumnus Robert L. Reeves (JD '79) passed away on April 6, 2016, in Pasadena, California.

From the Los Angeles Times:


Robert L. Reeves was the President and Founding Attorney of Reeves Miller Zhang & Diza, the Leading Immigration Law Firm in the United States. Attorney Reeves was a tireless advocate for the rights of immigrants throughout his long and distinguished career. He was the founding partner of Reeves Miller Zhang & Diza, and he continued to be the firm's managing attorney up until his passing. Robert Reeves, prior to founding the Firm, served three years in the United States Army and ten years with the New York City Police Department. Attorney Reeves passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2016 at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA. His loving wife, Elizabeth, was by his side. He was 74-years-old.
