In Memoriam: Karen Sobelman (JD '80)

August 21, 2017 -- Pepperdine Law alumna and former Legal Research and Writing professor, Karen Sobelman (JD '80), passed away on July 31 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

'Annah Karen Sobelman passed away peacefully in her home in Santa Fe, New Mexico on July 31, 2017 after a six year brave journey with breast cancer. She was born on January 16, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA to William and Vieanna (Knutson) Sobelman. With an exuberance for life and a laugh that filled the universe, 'Annah accomplished much in life. A graduate of the University of Southern California, she then went on to Pepperdine Law School where she received her JD and taught, and New York University School of Law where she received her JD in Corporate Law.
