In Memoriam: Albert P. Ballog, Jr. (JD '82)

May 8, 2016 --  Pepperdine Law alumnus Albert P. Ballog  (JD '82) passed away on May 4, 2016 in Los Angeles.  Ballog was a co-founder and shareholder of Sullivan, Ballog & Williams, LLP and was previously a partner in the firms Ballog & Ballog and Stafford, and Ballog & Sullivan.

Mr. Ballog has acted as an arbitrator, private mediator and Judge Pro Tem for the Orange County Superior Court and in 2002 graduated from the Straus Institute of Mediation at Pepperdine University School of Law.

 

Mr. Ballog received a B.A. in Earth Science/Geology from California State University, Fullerton in 1975 with graduate studies in Environmental Science/Hydrology from 1976 to 1977.  He received a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1982.  Mr. Ballog is a member of the State Bar of California (1982); U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California (1982); United States Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit (1987); The Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, The American Bar Association, and Orange County Bar Association.
