Miller (JD '78) is featured in the Los Angeles Daily Journal's judicial profile article, "Picture of Calm." Justice Miller has served on California's Fourth District Court of Appeal for the past 12 years.

The Pepperdine School of Law accepted him first, and he never opened another letter.

"I knew within weeks that this was just what I should be. It just fit with my brain, the logic of it and talking and analyzing," recalled Miller. "I enjoyed the interaction with the other students and the professors. That's not to say it wasn't hard and stressful, but it just was my personality."
