Frank Gatto (JD '10) and Tracy Smith (JD '19) Honored as Preceptors of the Year 2021-22

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumni Frank Gatto (JD ‘10) and Tracy Smith (JD ‘19) won the annual Parris Institute for Professional Excellence Preceptor of the Year award for 2021-22. Both Frank and Tracy attended the ceremony, held in the Caruso Law atrium on April 7, to receive their awards.

Frank Gatto is the Vice President of Mass Tort Services at Kurtzman Carson Consultants in Los Angeles.  Caruso Law student Grant Fox, Frank’s preceptee, had this to say about him:

“Mr. Gatto really went above and beyond in helping me determine what opportunities I want to pursue in the future and in helping me balance my school-life balance.  Fantastic experience overall.”

Tracy Smith is an Associate at Sidley Austin in Los Angeles.  Tracy’s preceptee, Caruso Law student Lusineh Bedikian, had this to say about her:

“My favorite aspect of my preceptor is how open she is to meet up and help me. She exceeded my expectations. She is always willing to talk me through any tough times I'm having, help me with opportunities, and checked in to see how I'm doing. I believe she goes above and beyond as a preceptor.”

Congratulations to Frank and Tracy for well-deserved recognition.
