Dean Paul Caron Joins 60 Law School Deans Opposing ABA Proposal to Make Law School Admission Test Optional
Dean Paul L. Caron has joined 60 law school deans opposing a proposal by the American Bar Association (ABA) to make the law school admission test optional.The law deans who signed the letter include Jens David Ohlin of Cornell Law School and Danielle R. Holley of the Howard University School of Law. In the letter sent to the council of the ABA Section of Legal Educations and Admissions to the Bar on September 1, the law deans argue that making entrance exams optional could hurt diversity among law students.
