The PACIS Project in Faith Based Diplomacy was the honored recipient of the national Association for Conflict Resolution's prized Peacemaker Award.  The PACIS Project was overseen by three co-Directors: late Timothy Pownall, the Assistant Director of the Straus Institute and Director of the Straus/Seaver Conflict Management Program; Brian Cox, ICRD's Senior Vice President; and Michael Zacharia, a veteran of the White House, U.S. State Department and international corporate law.
