A Conversation with Professor Meera Deo, Unequal Profession: Race and Gender in Legal Academia | February 4

Join the Pepperdine Caruso Law community for a discussion led by Dean Richards with Meera Deo, Professor of Law and Director of the Law School Survey of Student Engagement at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, on her book Unequal Profession: Race and Gender in Legal Academia. The event is on February 4, at 12:45-1:45 PM PST. The book draws from Deo's landmark Diversity in Legal Academia (DLA) project, the first formal empirical study to investigate raceXgender challenges and identify solutions to overcome barriers facing traditionally underrepresented faculty. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
