Cedric Weston Halloran Endowed Memorial Scholarship | Application Due October 27
Applications for the Cedric Weston Halloran Endowed Memorial Scholarship are open for one more week - the deadline is October 27. Established in memory of their son, Cedric Michael Weston Halloran, the endowed scholarship is generously funded by Professor Maureen Weston and Brian Halloran, and other donors.
Cedric was truly a "Pepperdine kid," having grown up in Malibu, with his Mom teaching at Pepperdine since his first steps at the faculty retreat in 2001. Over the years, Cedric was involved in the Pepperdine law community, including dodgeball, travel to student sports law competitions, international study tours, and helping to host students at their home. Cedric studied at Texas Christian University, Pierce College, worked at the Malibu Racquet Club, and was excited to enter his junior year at Pepperdine. He was an enthusiastic traveler and astute in gardening, cooking, and finance. Cedric is deeply missed.
“With this scholarship, we want to help a student at Pepperdine achieve the dreams we also had for our son” said Weston. The scholarship financially assists and will provide mentorship to a second- or third-year Pepperdine Caruso Law student with financial need who has endured a personal hardship and demonstrated citizenship to the law school community.
