1Ls Brittany Porter and Miguel Del Mundo receive Minority Corporate Counsel Association Scholarship

May 26, 2016 -- 1L Pepperdine Law students Brittany Alexis Porter and Miguel Eduardo Del Mundo have been awarded the Minority Corporate Counsel Association Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship.

The LMJ Scholarship is a national program that annually grants scholarships of $10,000 to students entering their first year of law school.

Porter graduated magna cum laude from Hampton University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Del Mundo also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with two bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Public Policy. Both students are in their first year at the Pepperdine School of Law.

"I feel incredibly grateful to be able to have the support of the LMJ Scholarship Program and the MCCA as I chart my path in the legal profession," Del Mundo wrote in an email to the Graphic. "I aspire to one day use my law degree to give back to the communities I care about."
